Sookio is proud to announce the addition of ASOS's very own Hannah Craik to the lineup for July's social media masterclass!
The expert panel, hosted by Sue Keogh, also includes Cate Sevilla of Buzzfeed and focuses on the effective use of images and video when promoting your brand on social media.
With over one and a half million followers on Instagram, ASOS are no strangers to running high-impact visual social media campaigns. This is only to be expected from one of the UK's largest fashion and beauty stores specialising in online retail.
Hannah is seriously focused on the rise of visual social media. "Instagram has been our fastest growing platform every month for, like, forever," she says.
And then there's video: "Very few brands – if any – have cracked YouTube; we need to. That and working out what the next big thing for our customers is, or the next little thing, is key to keeping them entertained."
We're looking forward to hearing more about the ASOS approach to social media and picking up some tips and tricks along the way.
About Hannah Craik
Hannah started her career as a digital advertising buyer (in the days before it got too difficult) and gradually moved into social media as she realised it was a great place to influence people.
She ran her first 'social' campaign on MSN Messenger, part of the team that gave every teenager in the early noughties a chance to Talk To FRANK directly.
Since then she has fought drug driving on MySpace, helped people quite smoking via Facebook, developed Samsung Mobile's YouTube channel and launched smart cameras with the Instagram community.
If not buying things she shouldn't be, you'll find Hannah Instagramming tea – all good ideas start with a cuppa.
