We're excited to be expanding the Sookio team with the addition of our new Digital Marketing Assistant, Frankie Weaver.
Frankie joins us after studying film and media production at West Suffolk College. So (naturally!) he's a keen videographer, and has honed his filming and editing skills when creating films including a promotional video for the Festival of Learning, as well as other documentaries and music videos.
And that's not all! Frankie also has experience in design, using Photoshop for designing his website logo and After Effects for putting that extra shine into his website emblem. Outside of work, he's a keen footballer, and enjoys both playing and watching the game.
At Sookio, Frankie will be working on our own marketing, as well as playing a key role in the production of Sookio School, our series of online digital marketing courses.
"I am really excited to be Sookio's newest team member," says Frankie.
"The thing I am most excited about in my new role at Sookio is that I'm going to be learning, doing something I really enjoy and having fun all at the same time."
Director Sue Keogh added: "After dipping our toe in the waters with a couple of work experience placements earlier on in the year, it felt like the time was right to create a more long-term position to someone starting out in the industry. To offer a digital marketing apprenticeship felt like the right choice for us - and for Frankie too."
"It's really exciting to have him join the team, and I look forward to making good use of his enthusiasm and experience, particularly in video content."
