Is it really a year since our Sweet Retweets workshop at Social Media Week 2011? That came round quick!

Well, we had so much fun we're doing it all again, with Sweet Retweets: How to write for social media, taking place at Soho studio 01ZeroOne at 1.00pm on Wednesday 15th February 2012.

If you'd like to come along then it's bad news I'm afraid, as the event sold out within an hour of going on the Social Media Week 2012 website, before it was even promoted. Which is a nice feeling for us but not so good for the people on the waiting list. Sorry.

So who's managed to get a hot ticket for year's most exciting and stimulating social media event?!

We've got a real mix - people from airlines, embassies and governments, PR, marketing and media, charities, and universities, as well as freelancers and start-ups. And this is the point of our workshops - that no matter how big your business or in which sector you work, we'll offer practical advice and handy tips on writing for social media that you can take away and apply straight away.

The Sweet Retweets workshops cover:

* getting Liked on Facebook

* writing tweets that will really travel

* crafting killer titles to make sure your content gets read and shared

* how to talk to your audience

* social media dos and don’ts

The event is sponsored by Islington-based branding and design agency Handstand Creative, who will be providing the confectionery to go with the Sweet Retweets theme. Thanks!

We also run smaller social media workshops which are more tailored to your particular business - we research the sector, your competitors and your audience, and work with you to come up with a strategy for your social media campaigns for the coming months. We can cover other areas like blogging strategy or homepage content, and extend it to other social channels that are relevant to your business, like Google+, YouTube or LinkedIn.
