The client 

TEDxGranta is a not-for-profit independently organised TED event. 

The project

Three events: Women Shaping The Future, Alive & Kicking and Telling Stories.

What we did

Our job was to look after the social media channels – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and a bit of Google+ – keeping people updated with information in the run-up to the event and live tweeting the events themselves.

Throughout the year we posted content of broader interest to our followers, so it was generally TED-related, Cambridge-related or simply about innovations in tech, entertainment or design that make you go ‘oooh, look at that!’

We were also the driving force behind the Telling Stories salon with CamCreative and helped shape the Alive & Kicking concept: writing press releases and the boilerplate text, offering suggestions for web content and helping the rest of the team find a good balance of speakers. We also picked the TED Talks which were shown on the day.

The outcome

Three incredibly successful events featuring a rich mix of content and an engaged community on the social media channels.
