Part-time administrator

This is a brilliant admin job for someone who enjoys being part of a dynamic team and who wants to help a fast-growing digital marketing agency operate efficiently behind the scenes.

Our overstretched Director needs someone to help lighten the load – a proactive person who will help with bookkeeping, paperwork, office management and generally keep things ticking along smoothly.

This is a part-time role, based in our creative hub of an office on Mill Road in Cambridge. It is also a new position, so it’s a chance to make your mark and play a critical role in the growth of our business.


  • Monthly bookkeeping, payroll and invoicing

  • HR duties including issuing contracts for staff members and contractors, calculating holiday time and booking one-to-ones

  • PA duties to our Director, such as diary management and booking travel

  • Answering the phone, making coffee for guests

  • Office management; keeping the place tidy, watering the plants, and making sure we never run out of milk

You must be

  • Trustworthy: you will be dealing with confidential information

  • Diligent: able to follow processes and make sure everything gets done

  • Proactive: always aware of what’s going on around you and thinking how you can support the Sookio team and help us become even more efficient

  • Organised: able to keep on top of things during spikes of activity

  • Reliable: if you say you’re going to do something, you do it!

Experience in the following is essential

  • Xero or other bookkeeping software

  • Google apps such as Gmail, Google Calendar

  • Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel

We also love

Trello, CapsuleCRM, Buffer, Breathe HR and Slack. You can pick these up really easily if you haven’t used them before.

As a digital marketing agency, we enjoy using different tools to create exciting content and to manage the process.
